Karen Clay, RN, BSN,
CWCN:
Karen has 30 years experience in health care. She is a national
speaker on wound management topics and has worked with numerous
Quality Improvement Organizations and health care
associations. Karen is the author of three books: "The Long Term
Care Survey Preparation Handbook", "Risk Management: Pressure
Ulcers - A prevention, assessment and treatment training manual"
and "Evidence-Based Pressure Ulcer Prevention" (HCPro). Karen
has provided consulting services and seminars in twenty-nine
States.
Vivan Brehaut, RN:
Vivian has 30 years experience in acute care, long term care and
specialized services. Vivian is certified in infection
control, foot care and is a certified medication trainer. Vivian
provides clinical consultation on all topics pertinent to long
term care and is dedicated to achieving strong clinical
outcomes.
Kathy Pion, RN,
Director of Clinical Consulting:
Kathy has 25 years experience in acute and long term care. As
Director of Clinical Consulting Kathy provides oversight and
management of all consultants and the services we provide. Kathy
has particular expertise in survey preparation, management and
response. With strong clinical and organizational skills Kathy
has assisted facilities in developing systems to assure "survey
readiness" on a daily basis.
Arlena Wood,
Financial Manager: Arlena prepares, reviews, and oversees
that the financial statements of the companies accurately
reflect the operations of the entity. She has over 30
years of experience in managing the finances of nursing homes.
Arlena received her degree in Accounting and Business
Administration from Western State College in Colorado and is a
CPA.
